It's a story that makes you go "Oh my Gawd!" Jaw-dropping really. Frequent rehab goer and Bon Jovi axeman Richie Sambora was arrested around 11PM Tuesday in Laguna Beach, California for DUI. reports say police pulled over a the black Hummer Sambora was driving after they noticed it weaving in traffic. Now for the hook, line and sinker ... Sambora's ten year-old-kid Ava, from a previous marriage with MILF Heather Locklear WAS IN THE CAR!!! No one wants to watch their dad get arrested. Lil' girlfriend is going to have some major rehab issues herself someday.Another woman, believed to be a nanny, and young girl were also in the car. But according to Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz, Sambora "was extremely cooperative with the everyone." He was eventually released around 4AM on Wednesday. Despite the success with Bon Jovi, Sambora's personal life has been in the pits. He lost his pops to lung cancer last spring, after divorcing Locklear and then hooking up with her best friend, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards. (This is all getting a little too Hollywood for me now.) "Richie has been on such a downward spiral," an anonymous friend told the Chicago sun-Times. "He hasn't gotten over Heather or Denise."Do you think rehab can help the sauce-loving Sambora? Should he get kicked out of Bon Jovi, so he can re-piece his life?

mmcnamara14 says Is the "Loving Cup" a Phish reference? If so....kudos to you. Sad to see Sambora this way.....he was a hero to me as a kid. A downward spiral is a good term for this, and this story is just awful.

Charley Rogulewski says sorta.... "Loving Cup" is originally a Stones song off "Exile on Main Street" which Phish covered regularly....The song goes "Just one sip....and you fall down drunk." -- which i thought was fitting in this case.

sonical says Saw this yesterday. It's a bummer about the kids. Actually, kids in the car can bring on a whole new set of charges. I've heard a baby in the car for a DWI could be charged as criminal negligence or even some kind of attempted manslaughter charge. Yikes! As for Loving Cup, one of the BEST TUNES EVER. Phish definitely rocked it out live over the past 10 years and thank God for that. In the upcoming Stones movie "Shine a Light" they do a version of Loving Cup with Jack White which I'm sure is amazing.

Can't help thinking about the myriad people who have the same disease but zero resources for a decent rehab program. And this tool in his black Hummer can't seem to get it together. Okay, personal woes, he lost his dad, he lost Heather Locklear, he was forced to bone Denise Richards, waaa waaa waaa. We've all got troubles, dude. Get sober. Stay away from relationships until at least the one-year mark. Remember that one good reason for doing the above is to actually be a dad to your kid. Not a Hummer-drivin', party-time, fun-lovin' goombah, but a dad. That is, if you actually care about that little girl. If not -- hey, go for the gusto.

dermahrk says I'd heard this, but not that there was ANOTHER ADULT in the car. So, assuming they were more sober than Mr. BJ, he endangered his daughter because he had too much pride to believe in a designated driver. ??Aah c'n drive jusht fi-eeen??!
