Spoon Prep New EP/Single

On April 8th Spoon will release the 8-track EP "Don't You Evah," based on the track from the band's 2007 release Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. "Don't You Evah," a track originally recorded by the Natural History (they called it "Don't You Ever") will be featured in five different remixes on the album, in addition to the original Natural History version, and spoon's Ga Ga Ga Ga ga version. "All I Got Is Me," a new Spoon song is also on the EP, that credits everyone from Diplo, Matthew Dear, Ted Leo, DJ Amaze and Alan Astor and Doc Delay Fixerupper as remixers. It's the band's first EP since 2000's Love Ways.Speaking with Billboard.com frontman Britt Daniel admitted, "The new Spoon track just didn't fit in with the last record ... but I like putting out singles. It's fun to find these random little B-sides -- stuff that's hard to find."Daniel, who recently transplanted to Portland, OR from Austin, TX has been keeping busy in his new environment.
