Maybe it was water.Since those days it seems Newcombe has been sitting pretty in Liverpool, England and Reykjavik, Iceland writing the psychedelic cult-band's thirteenth full-length album, My Bloody Underground. The new album will be released April 15th, 2008 on Newcombe's own label “a recordings.”People should buy the album alone for the opening track's title, “Bring Me The Head Of Paul McCartney On Heather Mill’s Wooden Peg (Dropping Bombs On The White House).” Other tracks on the album include, "Like Kicking Jesus" "Who Fucking Pissed In My Well?" and "We Are The Niggers Of The World," the last a track Anton wrote when he was just 9 years old. The drugs Newcombe took while putting together the album were not expressed in the press release, but I assume they were many.Since the band's inception in 1995 back in San Fransisco, Newcombe has hired and fired some two dozen band members.A DVD of music videos for each of My Bloody Underground's tracks wil be made available on A DVD in the future.
