Cobain Documentary Sountrack To Be Released Via Barsuck, Features DCFC's Ben Gibbard

"Last week we told you":http://mog.com/mollifire/blog_post/140751 that the Kurt Cobain documentary to About A Son will be heading to DVD on February 19th. What we didn't tell you was that the film's score, composed by Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Seattle musician/producer Steve Fisk, will also be "available for digital purchase on Barsuk Records":http://www.barsuk.com/shop/bark068 February 19th. "The original score,":http://www.barsuk.com/bands/kurtcobainaboutason does NOT feature any music by Kurt Cobain or Nirvana. Instead tracks by the Melvins, Arlo Guthrie, Bad Brains and Cobain favorite Lead Belly do however make the soundtrack. A limited-edition double-vinyl version of the score will be out in April.
