The Cure Touring US This Spring

Did I miss this or something? Holy crap, the Cure are heading to the US this spring for a major tour. So major they are plying both Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall (where industrial electronica act"65 Days Of Static":http://www.myspace.com/sixtyfivedaysofstatic will be their special guest) when they come to New York. The band will even hit the land of my ancestors and pierogis on their extensive winter tour of Europe, and they will hit it twice! Seems Robert Smith is getting a case of the cabin fever.
The US tour (in bold below) kicks off on May 9th at the Patriot Center in Washington, DC. The Cure's last studio release was 2004's The Cure. More recently the band released a DVD and audio album of festival cuts from the band's 2005 festival stops.
