Kanye West's Mother's Death Ruled Inconclusive

The world was shocked when rap star Kanye West, at the top of his career, lost his mother Dr. Donda West unexpectedly last November. After receiving plastic surgery, the former college professor, 58, was reportedly found dead in her LA-area home the next day. All fingers pointed toward West's plastic surgeon, Jan Adams, who reportedly had faced many previous malpractice suits. Another surgeon Dr. Andre Aboolian came forward, saying West had contacted him about getting a tummy tuck and a breast-reduction operation, but was denied due to an unspecified heart condition.Early reports indicated she had passed due to complications from Adams' performed surgery. However, yesterday, a deputy medical examiner said West "died from some preexisting coronary artery disease and multiple postoperative factors following surgery." Therefore, if West had a heart condition she should have not gotten the surgery.
The coroner's report included even more detail on the hours before West's death. a nephew had been taking care of her, but left for the day, leaving West with two caregivers and a longtime friend.At 4 p.m. West's experienced throat and chest pains. Those with her believed the pain was due to the breast reduction surgery and tight bandages. Top make her feel better West was given chicken soup, crackers, water and pineapple juice before getting her prescribed meds. The meds didn't seem to work - West remained in pain and began breathing heavily. An hour later, at 5 p.m., West fell asleep and when her friend came back to check on her from the kitchen, West was cold and clammy. At that point she was rushed to Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead later that evening.
