Feist, Wilco, M.I.A Nominated For 7th Annual Shortlist Music Prize

Feist, Wilco, M.I.A, Bjork, Iron & Wine are among the 54 nominees for the seventh annual Shortlist Music Prize. The peer-selected award recognizes the most creative and adventurous albums sold between January and November of the year, that have not been certified gold or have sold less than 500,000 albums. The 54 nominees, also called the Long List until the list is chopped to ten finalist in the beginning of next year, were selected by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, the Killers' Ronnie Vannucci, CMJ journalist Rev. Moose, KCRW radio DJ Chris Douridas and the hosts of Hunnypot Internet Radio.   4. Charley Rogulewski says eddie Vedder did a really nice job with the "into The wild" soundtrack. i bet Feist will get the award though.
