Marilyn Manson Countersues Long-Time Bandmate

Marilyn Manson is countersuing his longtime collaborator/keyboardist Stephen Bier aka Madonna Wayne Gacy for breach of contract.Bier filed a lawsuit last August seeking more than $20 million in salary and medical support. Bier noted that Manson used band profits to buy a mansion, pay for drug treatment, produce a movie, buy Nazi memorabilia and hold a fancy wedding, according to an AP report.Manson rebuts that in fact his and Bier's business partnership dissolved back in 1996 after Manson took the lead role of the band. Bier has been paid royalties for his work with the band, but according to Manson countersuit "failed to render services to the best of his ability and in a practical and cooperative manner." Manson in return wants Bier to stop releasing confidential band information to the media and unspecified damages.
