Sporting a swanky yellow tux and silver tie, Akon turned himself in to police on Monday for charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment, after he threw a young fan off his stage at a New York concert last June. Akon, who is nominated for four 2008 Grammys, pleaded "not guilty" and released a statement saying he "deeply regrets" the incident (so much he wrote a song about it.)
