Watch New Bonnie "Prince" Billy Video "I Am Goodbye"

Remember the Beatles tune "Hello Goodbye"? Lyrics go something like "You say hello, and I say goodbye."

Adding to his music catalog another song that starts with "I am..." (see "I Am Cinematographer" and "I a\Am Sky"), indie singer-songwriter and Allen Ginsberg beard thief Bonnie "Prince" Billy has invented his own 21st century folk version of the Beatles classic with "I Am Goodbye." Layered with all sorts of Americana - fiddles, banjos, mandolin and drunken moonshine guitar - Billy aka Will Oldham sings "You are hello and I am goodbye/ I am goodbye like an endless wonderful sometimes." Wonderful it is! The song is off the Louisville, KY-native's new Domino release Beware, which quickly follows '08's Lie Down In The Light and features a plethora of guest musicians, namely Dee Alexander, Leroy Bach, Jim Becker,Robert Cruz, DV DeVincentis, Jon Langford, Greg Leisez, Rob Mazurek, Nicole Mitchell, Azita Youssefi and Robert Cruz.
