WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Watch Chicks Dance In Weird Outfits In New Franz Ferdinand "No You Girls" Video

Posted 9 months ago

One of my favorite songs on the new and third from Franz Ferdinand, Tonight, finally got a brand new music video. "No Your Girls" reminds me a little of the Franz I fell in love with in '04 when "Take Me Out" became the 21st century's new power pop anthem. The video? A little strange in the mod meets swinging London/Austin Powers choreography aspect. I think I actually hate it. Love the song, hate the video.

I sometimes think that when performer's have a production going on around them it take's away from him, "Ala Las Vegas".

This is what they formed the band for,This is what every band forms for. like Obama having Stevie Wonder and E W & F over, just because "he can". The singer promised the bass-player and drummer, that if they made it they would make this video,no matter what!

Probably there biggest hit yet..and if someone says hey you're turning into Duran Duran, then they'll say, well it's ironic innit?

Okay, the "Gorls on Film" parallel makes sense - but what i was thinking as i watched was "Addicted to Love".

I find the song to be mediocre {sorry} and the video to be trying too hard.

....or maybe not trying at all!  I agree, the song is okay, and the video could be MUCH better.
