Phil Spector One Step Closer To Prison? Defense Rests In Retrial
-
Artist:

So this is sstiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllll going on and on and on. Phil Spector's second trial, the first was declared a mistrial after the jurors panned at a 10-2 vote, for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson is almost over. The defense rested its case yesterday at Los Angeles Superior Court, arguing that it was Clarkson that took her own life, depressed over a failing acting career. She was found dead at the uber-producer'sPyrenees castle of a California mansion on February 3rd, 2003.
The prosecution is forming a rebuttal. Their entire case rests on the key witness, Spector's chauffer who heard Spector say, "I think I killed somebody," and also made the 911 call after the murder. The prosecution accuses Spector, best known for trademarking the Wall of Sound production technique in the 60s, for pulling the trigger that took Clarkson's life.
The second trial has been ongoing since jury selection last October, while the first and heavily publicized went on for five months before coming up pointless. Sucks to get a jury summons and wind up on this case. The judge assured the chosen jurors that testimony would end sometime next week.

I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover but, if I was Specto's attorney, with hair like that it would be worth trying the insanity plea.
I mean, would anyone really be able to argue against it?
You got to love his hair. I wonder how long it takes him to get ready for court each day?
yeah, it's like those glass balls they sell at Spencer's that light up in a fluorescent kind of branch/lightning bolt which meets your finger tip when you touch it.
Spencer's? That's U.K. talk. You can't fool this Robert.
not marks and spencer's, silly....just spencers---there is one in every mall in the USA
never heard of spencer's so dont fret FRJ
The mushroom cloud personified. Fallout? Oh yeah ... megatons.
This Robert doesn't get out to malls very often.
That's okay, I don't go much....apparently Charley has never been to one in her life, though! Don't be afraid, people, there is nothing wrong with admitting you've HEARD of Spencers....my God! Of course, if you've never lived in America, you have an excuse.
p.s. i think the wall of sound that is his hair is an old photo. he's gotten some frize-eaze since. frize- eaze - can you pick that up at spencer's?
LOL.....hilarious.
If you REALLY want to know, go there and find out.
You could probably find a sweet Phil Spector disco-ball-hair poster in black velvet with blacklight reactive ink.
Is it sick to say if I found such a thing it would have a pemanent spot in my humble home???
