Posted over 2 years ago
Ministry will embark on their final world tour next March. The North American stretch kicks it off in Vancouver, British Columbia on March 28th. The tour, dubbed "C U LaTouR," will include Ministry's founder Al Jourgensen, Tommy Victor (Prong), Sin Quirin (Revolting Cocks), keyboardist John Bechdel (Prong, AoTW, False Icons), drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (ex-Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Alice Cooper) and Static X's Tony Campos on bass. Fear Factory/Ascension of The Watchers vocalist Burton C. Bell will add vocals. Experimental metal act Meshuggah and Hemlock will take on opening duties."A Ministry tour is a traveling circus," states Jourgensen. "When we roll into town, everyone hides their daughters, but the freaks roll out the red carpet and a friend or two pops up on stage to add some spice and mayhem to the show. We never know who's gonna walk through the dressing room door at sound check. We rehearse a bunch of 'extra' songs just in case so-and-so shows up..."Along with the tour comes the release of the 12-track Ministry & Co-Conspirators covers album Cover Up. Artists from Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records are featured on the album, which is scheduled for a late March/early April 2008 release.Pre-sales begin Thursday, November 15, 2007 and are accessible at www.thirteenthplanet.com.Ministry "C U LaTouR" tour dates:3/28 Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, BC CANADA3/29 Showbox SoDo, Seattle, WA3/30 Roseland Theatre, Portland, OR4/1 Fillmore, San Francisco, CA4/2 Fillmore, San Francisco, CA4/5 House of Blues, Los Angeles, CA4/6 House of Blues, Los Angeles, CA4/7 House of Blues, San Diego, CA4/8 Marquee Theatre, Tempe, AZ4/9 House of Blues, Las Vegas, NV4/11 The Great Salt Air, Salt Lake City, UT4/12 Ogden Theatre, Denver, CO4/15 La Zona Rosa, Austin, TX4/17 Palladium, Dallas, TX4/18 Verizon Wireless Theatre, Houston, TX4/19 House of Blues, New Orleans, LA4/22 Jannus Landing, St. Petersburg, FL4/23 House of Blues, Orlando, FL4/24 Tremont Music Hall, Charlotte, NC4/25 Masquerade, Atlanta, GA4/26 Rams Head Live, Baltimore, MD4/27 Palladium, Worcester, MA4/29 Fillmore at the TLA, Philadelphia, PA5/1 Irving Plaza, New York, NY5/2 Irving Plaza, New York, NY5/3 Metropolis, Montreal, QC CANADA5/4 Koolhaus, Toronto, ON CANADA5/6 Agora Theatre, Cleveland, OH5/7 Emerald Theatre, Detroit, MI5/8 House of Blues, Chicago, IL
