Axl Rose Hates On Slash Some More, Calls Him "A Cancer"

Well there goes a possible reunion of the original GNR line-up. In "a new interview with spinner.com":http://www.spinner.com/2009/02/27/axl-rose-insists-original-guns-n-roses-lineup-is-dead-and-burie/ Axl Rose calls his former bestie and guitarist "a cancer," basically taking his douchyness to new levels. While Slash has always remained open to playing again with Axl, recently telling late night host Letterman he's into it, Axl is taking a different approach to maturity.
"I suppose (former bass player) Duff (McKagan) could play guitar on something somewhere but there's zero possibility of me having anything to do with Slash," Rose said when asked if the original Guns N roses' line-up would get back together. "In a nutshell," he continued, "personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided -- and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters the better." Axl then went on to say that Slash has become "a whore for the limelight."

Axl is so eloquent, ain't he? Gotta wonder if this isn't similar to the Roth/Van Halen brouhaha. I wouldn't rule out a GNR reunion.
That is sad. Its the old 'singer hates the lead guitarist' thing. Everyone, including touring mates Metallica have said that Axl was the problem and he keeps on blaming everything on Slash. I have never seen an interview with any other member of GnR who has blamed Slash for what happened-just Axl...
Axl needs to go sit in the corner until he can GROW UP!!

...whew, sorry for all that caps, but it sometimes takes some cyber-yelling to get through to some of rock's larger divas. Personally, I could care less if they reform. I wouldn't give one dime to support the voweless one based on attitude alone. Hell, I wouldn't even take his albums for free...that would take up valuable space I could give to Celine Dion or someone else I can lothe with less effort.
