James Taylor Giving Us More Covers

James Taylor had such a good time covering other peoples' songs on last year's Grammy-nominted Covers album, he's releasing the rest of the original recording session - another seven remakes - on April 7th and calling it Other Covers. Taylor recorded some twenty songs with his 12 piece Band of Legends in his Massachusetts converted barn studio for the project. The original Covers album peaked at Number Four on the Billboard 200 with Taylors take on Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away" and the Drifters' "On Broadway" to name a few. The new batch, Other Covers, includes Chuck Berry's "Memphis and Tom Waits' "Shiver Me Timbers." A delux version of Covers will also be available with both album combined. Taylor's tour kicks off April 23rd in Austin, Texas.
