Track:We Are Going To Be Friends
After a year and half apart Jack White, recently touring with his other band the Raconteurs, reunited with his pseudo sis/first wife/bandmate Meg White in a melodramatic send-off to Late Night host Conan O'Brien. The duo performed a slower than usual, acoustic version of their White Blood Cells track "We're Going To Be Friends." After almost sixteen years in the Late Night with Conan O'Brien seat, the funnyman is taking over Jay Leno's Tonight Show spot while former Saturday Night Live star Jimmy Fallon is moving in on Conan's old digs.
"When we were trying to decide what musical guest to feature on our last show after so many years, there was one band that was always at the top of my list," O'Brien saidintroducing the duo to the audience. "I wasn't sure this could happen… Please welcome our good friends for many years, the White Stripes."
The "I wasn't sure" part stems from the sudden halt in the White Stripes 2007 tour behind Icky Thump, when Meg White came down with acute anxiety syndrome. She looked better on Conan, leaving behind her drumsticks for the acoustic guitar.

I'm glad she was able to do his show ... very cool. :)
Meg White certainly makes up in looks what she lacks in talent. And Jack White has the white trash blues thing down. I mean that in the most complimentary way
