Someone's acquired a liscence to take Michael Jackson's zombie-rific "Thriller" video concept to the Broadway stage. (First U2 and Spiderman and now this! These Broadway folks keep getting wackier ideas.) According to an "AP report,":http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090126/ap_en_ot/people_michael_jackson;_ylt=AuDPfTbjaiqzxgS7XX0IMstxFb8C producer James L. Nederlander, whose company owns nine Broadway Theaters, has the rights to use music from both Michael Jackson albums Thriller and Off the Wall.
"I love the idea of making 'Thriller' a musical. Girl meets boy, they fall in love, boy has big secret, now what?" Nederlander said. I'm guessing...girl turns into a zombie too?
A spokesperson for MJ confirmed the report by saying, "The Nederlanders and Michael Jackson represent live theater and musical excellence, so let the music begin."
Would you go see this?

Insane. "Live music excellence," huh? These days? In what dimension? BTW, I hear tell that Jackoff - I mean, Jacko - is moving into Bel-Air. That's not far from where I stay when I'm in L.A. Do you think I'll need to get vaccinated for monkey-rabies or mad-llama disease?
I prefer this instead...
i do not. prefer tehg original.
MTK- def need a rabies shot if you dont have one already
