Radiohead, McCartney, Jay-Z, T.I., And More Performing At Grammys

Posted 11 months ago

No surprise here really. After flanking his mug on billboards for this year's Grammy awards Thom Yorke and the rest of Radiohead have been confirmed as performers for the awards show. Radiohead is up for Album of the Year for In Rainbows, plus four other nominations. According to Billboard this will be the first time Radiohead have played live on U.S. TV in nine years.

Other performers include Paul McCartney backed up by Dave Grohl on drums, Kenny Chesney, Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood. But the real icing on the cake? Jay-Z, T.I. Lil Wayne and Kanye West all performing "Swagga Like Us" together. T.I. will then take the stage again with Justin Timberlake

The 51st annual Grammys Awards air February 8th from Los Angeles' Staples Center. In teh past couple of years ratings have been bad despite trying to bring back Sly Stone and the golden anniversary's Amy Winehouse broadcast from a London stage shenadigan.

Hopefully Radiohead will help boost the ratings, because honestly if they can't help, there's probably no hope.

I remember jay-z boycotted the grammys for several years in a row, nice to see him back.

I'm sure M.I.A.will jump in if they're really performing swagga like us

Damn that sounds nearly watchable for once. Radiohead should win best album, but for what year are they counting it as? Isn't that thing like a year and a half old by now?

does SNL not count as "live on american tv?"  Radiohead did a phenomenal performance on there a few years back.
