It's a breath of fresh air to hear that the latest buzz band isn't some indie rock, flannel-clad bearded ensemble from the part of town with all the buy/resale/trade shops. (Nothing against indie rock, or the bearded. I also tend to wear flannel.) Actually, The Answer are far from it. Hailing from various Northern Ireland locales, the hard rockers released their full-length debut Rise in 2006 overseas and soon had Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page calling himself a fan. Their first US official release, the Never Too Late EP, dropped back in November of '08 at about the same time they boarded AC/DC's Black Ice world tour. Word spread that if you had yourself an AC/DC ticket you had to get there early to check out the Answer.
