South African Reggae star Lucky Dube was murdered during an apparent car jacking over the weekend, after dropping off two of his kids at his brother's House in Johannesburg. Five men were arrested Sunday and police obtained illegal guns and the car used during the crime. The gang will appear in court on Tuesday.Dube, who got his start in the Eighties singing against apartheid, recorded 20 albums ranging from reggae, Afrikaans and the rural Zulu-rooted Mbaqanga style. South Africa has a major car jacking problem. Some 16,000 carjackings occur a year leading many citizen to outfit their cars with anti-carjacking features, most commonly flame-throwers that shoot sideways from beneath cars.
