"George Harrison's music and his search for spiritual meaning is a story that still resonates today and I'm looking forward to delving deeper," Scorsese told Variety. 2. Charley Rogulewski says Have you seen "The Concert for Bangladesh : George Harrison and Friends"? It's just a concert, but Harrison entertains. I am actually excited for this more than the Rolling Stones one and it will probably won't be as boring as "No Direction Home."

  3. PopeyePete says Yeah Ive seen CFB. I liked it. I guess I never found George to be interesting enough as a personality to want to watch a film about him. Im also not a huge Beatles fan. I actually loved No Direction Home. Ive watched it so many times. I didnt find it boring at all. Bob Dylan was a great person to do a documentary on imo.

  4. Johny says George's way of life is something to look upon. George's music is something to dream upon. George's love is something to sing along. George is someone to look upon. He was and still is very important to all of us in this world. A human being like him should one never forget, never. Thanx Olivia and MrScorcese.

  6. dark-horse says I liked No Direction Home, and I'm unbelievably excited for Shine a Light, but this beats out both of them. I think George is a great person to do a documentary on... He was totally different from every other musician to come out of the sixties. Not just musically, but personally & spiritually as well. Rest assured, I'll be counting the days 'til this comes out.
