Luaka Bop, the music label started by Talking Head's frontman David Byrne, will release the long-awaited OS Mutantes double disc live set, Os Mutantes Live at the Barbican Theatre, London 2006.
The London concert, held on May 22nd, 2006, was the first Os Mutantes concert in some thirty-three years. Special guests that evening included neo-boho musicians Devendra Banhart and Noah Georgeson. The live album, which was released in the UK this past July, drops stateside this November. A DVD of the show is expected to be released in January 2008.
