The Cure Postpones Tour

The Cure have not only postponed the release of their first album in three years to spring 2008, but also the fall tour behind it. Via their official Web site, The Cure have announced their decision "to move the September/October 2007 North American Cure shows to April/May 2008" because they "want to remodel/rework the live show for North America, change things around, incorporate new songs."Tickets for the 2007 fall tour will be good for the re-scheduled 2008 shows. Tickets can also be refunded at point of purchase. 
The Cure will still play San Francisco's Download Festival on October 6th, still perform at the MTV Latin America Awards on October 18th and play three following shows in Mexico City on October 20th-22nd.According to their statement, the cure promise that "the Spring 2008 Cure shows will be even better than the Fall 2007 ones would have been!!!"
