Every time you come

Artist:
Track: Every Time You Come
2

Here's a song by Israeli pop singer Efrat Gosh in honor of her performance at this year's official national Independence Day ceremonies (which were two day ago).

I almost managed to write that sentence with a straight face.

What I mean is that after hearing her perform Wednesday night, I looked for footage of it on Youtube to see if it could possibly be as horrible as I remembered. Didn't find it, but did stumble across some other songs of hers I recognized from the radio and - to my shock - liked.

Am posting this one mainly because I love the black lines/tentacles. The colored water drops are rather less successful and the singer herself is kind of creepy here, but the lines are well worth a watch.

Every Time You Come (Tamid Kshe'ata Ba)
Efrat Gosh

Every time you come
I know a little more that it's forbidden
But it doesn't help me
Doesn't help

When you come
I guard, hold on until it's all over
I know why you came
And what's forbidden to be said

Every time you come
I'm a little less empty of myself
But I still guard more strength

When you come, I fall because of you
I want to cry
I know why you came and what I'm forbidden to expect

Chorus:
Maybe one day I'll manage to escape
Maybe you'll see me for who I really am
Maybe one day I'll manage to escape
Maybe you'll see me for who I really am

Every time you come
I know a little that it's forbidden
But I don't care anymore
Don't care

When you come
I'm prepared to get up and disappear
I know why you came and what I'm forbidden to imagine

Chorus

Yeah, the black lines are pretty cool. The song too. Thanks.
