Track:Every Time You Come
Here's a song by Israeli pop singer Efrat Gosh in honor of her performance at this year's official national Independence Day ceremonies (which were two day ago).I almost managed to write that sentence with a straight face. What I mean is that after hearing her perform Wednesday night, I looked for footage of it on Youtube to see if it could possibly be as horrible as I remembered. Didn't find it, but did stumble across some other songs of hers I recognized from the radio and - to my shock - liked.Am posting this one mainly because I love the black lines/tentacles. The colored water drops are rather less successful and the singer herself is kind of creepy here, but the lines are well worth a watch.Every Time You Come (Tamid Kshe'ata Ba)Efrat GoshEvery time you comeI know a little more that it's forbiddenBut it doesn't help meDoesn't helpWhen you comeI guard, hold on until it's all overI know why you cameAnd what's forbidden to be saidEvery time you comeI'm a little less empty of myselfBut I still guard more strengthWhen you come, I fall because of youI want to cryI know why you came and what I'm forbidden to expectChorus:Maybe one day I'll manage to escapeMaybe you'll see me for who I really amMaybe one day I'll manage to escapeMaybe you'll see me for who I really amEvery time you comeI know a little that it's forbiddenBut I don't care anymoreDon't careWhen you comeI'm prepared to get up and disappearI know why you came and what I'm forbidden to imagineChorus
