New "U2" single out. Hear it here.

It's hard to say, having listened only once, if I love this song or not. I "kind of" like it. It grew on me as the song went on. It's got a muscular riff back there that drives the song. The steady rythmn section is on it tight.

I doubt this one will be considered an all-time greatest U2 song. But, they're allowed to try some things. They can't ALWAYS do the chiming guitar thing every song. (Although, I never really tire of it.)They said, in an interview I recently read, that they wanted to try some "heavy rock" shit...just to try THOSE boots on.

Considering the insanity of the Chris Cornell leap into pop RandB (see below), this is barely a huge step in a new direction. Although, for whatever reason, whenever Bono tries to project a sex-rock-god thing, I get a bit uncomfortable.
