That Heat Pt. 2- Mixtape Messiah, Club Remixes, and an Appearance by the Gremlin

Not Gonna Teach Him (The Twelves Kickmix)

I love getting back from class on Mondays with good new music waiting for me. Chamillionaire resurrects the Swagger Like Us sample and then proceeds to kill it in a warm-up for Mixtape Messiah 5, while Wiz Khalifa gets remixed and Young Chris puts on his Jay-Z voice to rap over a club beat. Lastly, Lil Wayne puts out a decent non-album collabo. He hasn't done that since the I Can't Feel My Face hoax. Downloads after the jump. [UPDATE: Full mixtape link for the Lil Wayne/Black Kids Collabo]

Chamillionaire- Swagger Like Us

Cham uses the M.I.A. sample to hype the next volume in his Mixtape Messiah series. Just when I thought SLU had finally been beaten to death, we have to (get to?) hear it again. Luckily these fresh lyrics are worth my ears bleeding. Shouts to illRoots.

Wiz Khalifa- Say Yea (Christian Rich remix)

While nothing can touch this song's original beat, the drum-heavy remix sounds like a mix between A Millie and The Percolator. First found at Panda Toes.

Emynd ft. Young Chris- We Don't Give A…

The instrumentals, provided by Emynd of Crossfaded Bacon, really make this track. A solid B-More feel complimented by Lil' Jon-type ad libs. Young Chris really needs to stop with the Jay-Z voice. He's like the hip-hop version of the New Coke.

Black Kids ft. Lil Wayne- Not Gonna Teach Him (The Twelves Kickmix)

The original Black Kids cut is probably one of my favorite pop songs out, so when I saw the Gremlin and his penchant for putting out hot garbage featured, I was a bit pessimistic. Luckily, the song remains untainted, and actually, Lil Wayne added a good complementary verse. Definitely worth a listen. Only problem is, the track ends abruptly, leading me to believe there may be a longer version. Once I find it down I'll post the update. UPDATE: Of course, minutes after posting, I find out it's part of the new Kickdrums & The League Mixtape. Get the full tape at White Folks Get Crunk. Catch the single song download at Pretty Much Amazing.
