OK, now here's two and then three days later, a few tunes getting me by in this life back on 4 October 2008.
1. Band of Horses- Part One
2. Devendra Banhart- Cristobal
3. Neil Young- For The Turnstiles
4. Neko Case- Tightly
5. Pearl Jam- Nothingman
It was still warm and I would go out to walk, maybe about 1130 or so at night; I could still wear shorts. Good weather. More Neko Case and a rare PJ track, Vitology is way underappreciated. Time 22:55
And again the next night 5 Oct.
1. Tool- Disposition
2. Jethro Tull- Wond'ring Aloud
3. Uncle Tupelo- Moonshiner
4. Paul McCartney- Momma Miss America
5. Nick Drake- From The Morning
6. Pearl Jam- Immortality
Note here the first of many appearences from the Tool track Disposition, the beginning of Nick Drake weather here on the shore, and another PJ track from the same disc. Time 23:09

I still don't understand the appeal of Devendra whatzit. I don't "get" him.
I like him quite a bit, though his earlier records can be a bit grating if your not ready for them. I would start with Nino Rojo, and then maybe Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon. Both are very very good. I'm diggin the whole acid folk thing in general, really. there's some out there shit. Here, dig on this...
Vitology, every bit of it, deserves at least another listen from the critics, and The Band Of Horses (all but especially their latest album)--these are the songs that transported me farthest from my recent days of frustrations and holiday highs and lows. Thank you. My computer fried on 12/22 and I lost five years of writing (my life), not to mention a full load of Blitzen Trapper footage from 12/03. Getting my head back into TBOH alone means I am indebted to you.
