I went to the Cold War Kids/Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! gig at The Barrowlands (Glasgow) last Saturday. It was a really good gig. Cold War kids were awesome, the lead singer has a superb voice live and the band were great too. Clap your hands were good too, tons better than at T in the park but still need some polishing. Unfortunately not many people knew their new stuff so the atmosphere for the new tunes was only ok. For their old stuff though the atmosphere was superb, much better than i thought it would be, saying that though, it was a Saturday night at the Barrowlands! Loads of jumping about and left mega sweaty.

We missed most of the first support act (Elvis Perkins). Check out "While you were sleeping" on his website (www.elvisperkins.net) I love it.

I go through this every month. Find something that I was way into years ago but fell by the wayside. Currently, Dan Baird has resurfaced in my collection and gets daily spins.
Same here.(sigh) Happens very often actually. Can you believe this- Audioslave How can you forget them ? Too much Sigur Ros, Radiohead and Blur I guess........
