I'm sure all you MOGgers out there are at least vaguely familiar with the music magazine Paste. With its indie music consciousness, smart design, and free sampler CD with each issue, it's easily in the very top tier of musical periodicals.

But, at a staggering $34.95 for a year's subscription, it is quite steeply priced. And that's probably the only turn off for most would-be subscribers. (I know that's the exact reason I didn't subscribe immediately.)

But, in light of Radiohead's recent, shall we say...entrepreneurial endeavor, Paste has been inclined to follow in their footsteps.

So right now, you can subscribe to Paste magazine for any fucking price you want. That's right. ANY PRICE. Two bucks. Three. 28. Whatever it's worth to you, is what you pay. Also, it's not limited to new subscribers. Current subscribers can renew their shit as well, for absolutely any price they want.

There is one catch, though.

You have to pay at least a dollar for it.

I mean, even if you are a cheap-ass bastard, one dollar for 11 issues of a highly acclaimed publication and 11 sampler CDs is a steal of a deal even the most shrewd bargain hunter can't pass up.

So my advice to you, is to get your drooling ass over to Paste's website, and drop your dollars on a subscription.

I seriously doubt they'll be wasted.
