I saw this musical play, "Franks Wild Years," in which Waits acted, and which was presented by the prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre company. "You're Innocent When You Dream" was the standout track in my opinion. Check out his legendary stage patter, while appreciating that the singing is going to repel as many as it attracts:
