Gettin Back Into the Groove
Well, I've been so busy I haven't had time to mog as much as I would have liked. So, since I've been gone I have a lot to get off my chest!! I was watching the Pepsi Smash cover art clips and I saw some really interesting performances. The first performance I would like to talk about is TPain. For all of you that don't know who is TPain is. He's a rapper/singer from Tallahassee, FL. He had that hit song, I'm in love with a stripper. He did a cover of Gavin DeGraw's "I don't want to be" I would have never thought of this combo. I give him much props for that endeavor. I think he did a great job. He looked weird, but I enjoyed it.Bowling for Soup did a cover of Fergie's London Bridge. I am now a fan! They are so hilarious! That was an enjoyable performance. Ray Jay performed "Clocks" by Coldplay. Another enjoyable performance I didn't know he had in him. Now the killer...Switchfoot performed Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". I'm still on the wall with that one.Speaking of Beyonce...if I ever thought that seeing a video didn't make a difference on whether or not u like a song, Beyonce has proved me wrong. When I first heard Beyonce's CD, I can say that Upgrade U, Ring the Alarm and Irreplacable were my favorite songs and the only ones that liked on the CD. Now she has put out a deluxe edition of the CD and has four new videos. And that's all I've seen on video channels for the past four days....Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce. After seeing those videos over and over again, I've found myself going back to the CD and listening to Suga Mama, Green Light, Get Me Bodied and Freakum Dress and I actually kind of like them now. She definitely knew what she was doing!!Now I save the best for last. Trey Songz!!! I'm so in love...:) He has this new song Wonder Woman and just put out a mix tape In My Mind and video for Wonder Woman. This song (Wonder Woman) is so infectious and I love it. I've been listening to it over and over since I copped it yesterday. Now that's a load off my chest. Peace!!
