IS there a better heartbroken song than Wish you were Here?

Posted almost 5 years ago
Just wondering...Is there a better song than this for a broken heart, or remembering someone you love or cared about, or maybe just when missing old times and old friends? I don't know? This song just gets to me on so many levels and is obviously so timeless, and yet so simple and straightforward, unlike most of their effect layden music. If there was any downside to it, it would be that there isn't really any cheer you up factor to the song, but that's okay too. Sometimes we want to wallow in misery and despair and just be sad for a while. This song is great for that, atleast I believe so, but what are all your thoughts or what songs do you all feel are good ones to get you through the lonely times?

  1. Dozen Black Roses says Hmmm this song doesnt resonate with me in terms of a broken heart, but definitely for missing friends and/or places once connected to. Kind of serves its place...as you say..to wallow in it for a time, but generally once its over its over, and I go back to the knowledge and awareness that we can never go back, things have changed, there was a reason one left, have to move on, etc. This song epitomizes a time capsule for me...look at it..listen to it..remember it..then put it away again.
