Meiko is a great singer-songwriter and her debut cd came out last year. I love the production - very understated and solid and it's definitely influencing how I'm mixing my newer recordings (I can't wait to share them with you....). Anyway, this cd is now on iTunes, rereleased by Myspace Records, and comes with a new song and several live songs.
My friends Kate and Kacey Coppola have their first big released country single on iTunes. You should definitely download that too.
And finally, the new Songs for Tibet cd has songs by many of my favorite musicians - Imogen Heap, Jonatha Brooke, Duncan Sheik, Garbage, and Suzanne Vega, etc.

It's been a while since I've been on mog but still get all the emails about what not and your postings. I just downloaded Meiko's newest. Just love it!!! Will look at Songs for Tibet! It has our boy Duncan on it!

wow, i am so glad you posted this--i absolutely love meiko. her music is great. there's one particular song that hasn't left my ipod playlist for over a week called "New Road" with AM Sounds--it's well worth checking out, the two of them make a great team!
