Well....last night I ventured to a show in Providence at the AS220 featuring Hairy Dairy, Afrirampo, and Lightning Bolt. The show was decent, nothing spectacular, but still enjoyable nonetheless. Hairy Dairy started things off, playing only four songs. I love ambient (dare I say it, post-rock) music. One of the best bands out there in this genre is **Sigur Ros**, from Iceland. I'm not going to describe their music with any other words but tragic beauty. They are awesome, and one great thing about them is you can hear how their music has evolved from the first release, _Von_, to their latest, _Takk..._ I also love how the song, _"Myrkur"_ ...

Yeah so, I've been into this band for the last 6 months...they've got everything. Great indie sound with well-built songs. The one thing that kills me about them is the vocals. Sounds exactly like nails on a chalkboard. But otherwise, a good band.
