But am I the only one who can't stand this song???? I promised myself I'd try to accept this new musical direction that *Rilo Kiley* has taken but I didn't expect it to be so goddamn hard! I miss the lovely, slightly quirky, introspective, witty, intelligent lyrics! I miss the emotional intensity! I just can't do the tacky disco sleaze! What can I say? I guess I'm just an indie kid at heart. With that said, I am developing a certain level of appreciation for the song "Silver Lining"... In part, because there's nothing more depressing than a brand new Rilo Kiley album full of songs that I just can't get into... I respect the band for trying something different but it's just not my cup o' tea.
