WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Artist:
Album:

So I got a nice little media mail package today with 5 Martin Denny records in it. First off, the seller packaged them very nicely - all removed from sleeves and stuff. He also had the sense of humor to bookend the records with other record covers such as a signed copy of "the solo artistry of Robert Hale and Dean Wilder - Songs of Devotion and Praise." Yes, I said 'signed.'

I thought I was going to have a duplicate copy of Quiet Village, but the one I got in the mail is in stereo. Now I have both mono and stereo versions. Muhahaha - suck it hipsters!

Please let this NOT be the beginning of an obscure collecting fetish.

"suck it hipsters!"- sounds like the beginning of something...and hopefully an obscure collecting fetish.

Is it the 1959 "all-black label" stereo version, or the 1960 "black-rainbow label" version?

It's the 1960 rainbow version - so hipsters can only mildly "suck-it."
