As much as I hate my wife's car and driving it on Friday's (long story), I've taken the opportunity to get reaquainted with some old tapes. Today's tape was Urge Overkill - Saturation. This band should have been huge. They kind of got there with the momentum from their song in Pulp Fiction, but they just couldn't break free. It might have had something to do with their next album "Exit the Dragon" being very disappointing.Saturation gave them a few modest hit with "Sister Havanna" and I think "Positive Bleeding" got some plays. There are some really good songs like "Back on Me" and "Bottle of Fur" What's sad is that I don't even own this anymore on CD. I have some files I downloaded from Napster a long time ago. I should buy this again. I can get it for 37 cents on Amazon. For a better album, check out their Supersonic Storybook.
