Have you ever heard someone say, "Phil Collins was one of the best artists of the eighties. He reinvented himself in the eighties as a crooner, and in the nineties as a touring piece of saffron that sang monkey songs from a scooner.

That Phill Collins is such an awesome drummer, he even toured with a big band playing jazz standards like "Stella by Starlight" when he got sick of the monkey songs.

You see, I remember when Genesis reunited for "We Can Dance" in 1991 or whatever, and I'm not ashamed. Hell George Bush was President, I was in high school, and I saw them perform at the Oakland Coliseum. It was sweet... but I was also listening to the Chick Corea Acoustic Band at the time.

Gen X'ers and Y's have blocked any memory of those years from their minds, partially because this bastard of a 9/11 world has transformed us into cynical, narcissistic executors of style and taste. If you weren't listening to the Smiths, the Pixies, or Janes Addiction, you sucked. Well I've tried listening to those records and maybe one day I'll show my true feelings, but for now I need to change my underwear.

The thing is the nineties kind of sucked ass, and there's no getting around "Too Legit too Quit" or the Tom Clancy Trilogy of Harrison Ford movies.

However, in 2007, Phil Collins seems a lot dated.

And this explains "the dear caught in the headlights" look on his face when he took the stage at Wembley for Live Earth, and why I was moved to write that Genesis' opening number sounded like Spyro Gyro farting in a space suit....... take a listen and enjoy my Ode to Oh Oh

An Australian woman was killed by a pet camel given to her as a 60th birthday present.

The woman, whose name was not released, was killed at her family's sheep and cattle ranch near Mitchell, 350 miles west of the Queensland state capital Brisbane, Detective Senior Constable Craig Gregory said. This is in Australia if you haven't figured it out yet.

The 10-month-old, 330 pound Camel named Diego, pushed the woman to the ground with it's head and then mounted her.

The medical examiner Harvey Wilcott III, reported in disbelief, "She had reached Menopause five years ago so I can't explain what the camel was smelling."

The arresting officer added, "I'd say it's probably been playing, or it may be even a sexual sort of thing," he said, adding that the camel had almost suffocated the family's pet goat by straddling it.

The woman was given the camel by her husband and daughter. "She had an unbridled love of exotic pets,"

It is unknown whether the camel finished or not.
