I have no idea why I love this album so much. It's a creepy album to listen to, like the deranged songs of a mental patient. I'm guessing it's all those scary movie that I watched when I was little when I wasn't supposed to, but my older brothers were watching them on HBO so I guess it's partly their fault.
I really like when a band tries to be creative and mixes it up. Here's a song by the Bound Stems that seems like 3 different songs when listening to it. The second part kicks in around the 1 minute mark. Then moves in yet another direction after 3 minutes in.File under Indie Rock, I guess...
I was just watching the Austin City limits of his performance and while it was great, it left me wanting to see a lot more as they showed only four songs! * Jacksonville * Casimir Pulaski Day * The Dress Looks Nice on You * Oh Detroit, Lift Up Your Weary Head! Here's a link to the video for my favorite song on the album, Casimir Pulaski Day.http://www.pbs.org/klru/austin/artists/Suf...
