I went to the Princeton Record Exchange today to do some shopping. I normally order music through the Internet, but there's nothing like puttering around a good record store. I got one from my want list - Hip-O Select's re-issue of Love's Blue Thumb recordings. I was psyched to find that. Now if I could just find a copy of Arthur Lee's first solo album, Vindicator I would be a happy camper. From the used bin I also picked up Duke Ellington & Louis Armstrong's Great Summit - The Master Takes and Sonny Simmons's Manhattan Egos. Then I went for a hike along the canal (see pic) while listening to disc 2 of Duke Robillard's World of Blues. It was a good day!
