WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Artist:

Like folk-rock? How about Classical violin? Well Josh Ritter and Hilary Hahn are from two very different musical spectrums. Yet I believe thats what makes this so precious.

No marketing angles here. Just two artists that consider it a "double bill", but play together some as well.

Forgive me for being so shallow but I find Hilary Hahn too pretty for a violinist. (Maybe, I'm just jealous that beauty blesses talent too).

I'm listening to their trading tunes and I must say Hilary's variations are more alluring to me than Josh's strumming.

Thank you for the link.

Is it even more shallow of me to admit the I was all set to pass up the link, due to limited time, until Bartelby commented on how pretty she is?

Interesting listen, but ultimately not my cup of tea. there were some good moments, but folk in general tends to go a long way real quick with me. Still, it was a good listen. Thanks!

And how shallow of me is it that I now don't want to click on the link because of these two lads? ;P

I just finished listening to the concert. Good stuff. I saw Josh Ritter a few weeks ago here in Little Rock. It was an amazing show, and I got a chance to talk to Josh for 10 or 15 minutes after the show. He told me that he played violin until his late teens when he decided to pick up a guitar, so it makes sense for him to collaborate with Hilary, and he's on tour now with Andrew Bird. It would be fun to see them together. You can read Josh's description of the Little Rock show here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/josh-ritter/on-the-road-to-the-bellbr_b_103320.html
