For one reason or another I feel like I should make a post simply to say that I'm still aware of this site.Now, quick question, I seem to get a lot of recommendations for Kenny G in those random emails from MOG. I hate Kenny G with a passion (to be fair, I don't hate the person, I just really dislike the music). What in my horrible taste of music spawned that recommendation? On another note...Since I don't listen to the radio and rarely watch TV my music exposure is kind of very limited (at the same time it's not but that's another no one gives a fuck story). So on occasion I come across some music that I really get into only to learn that I should probably be ashamed.So bands I've come across lately that I'm enjoying:Blue October (I think this is one of those bands that I should be ashamed of having on my mp3 player)The Fuck ButtonsThe Hush SoundBilly TalentAndy McKeeWith my luck in musical shame they are all on those NOW cds.

dermahrk says This is great site. I've been here for around 18 months and still look forward to reading the posts every day. Having said that, the MOG recommendations and so-called Magic Button do a very poor job of matching my musical tastes. How they come up with this stuff is beyond me. I think there is a huge dartboard at the MOG office or something.

Bizarro Jesus says I'm starting to wonder if MOG just picks the most embarassing song/artist/album in peoples collections for these recommendations to remind them that they should probably delete it and then go cry.
