I just got really excited. I heard a new Lemonheads song. I had no idea Evan Dando was doing anything these days. I have no info at all but the song was really cool and I still like the Lemonheads. www.thelemonheads.net there is an mp3 around there somewhere.
update:
I just discovered why the new Lemonheads track I heard rocked so hard. He's got Bill Stevenson and Karl Alvarez from the Decendents for a rhythm section. woohoo! damn, I have'nt got this excited about a upcoming release in a long time. it comes out 9/26.
so what is MOG exactly? what does it mean? the acryonym I mean. I suppose I could click a few buttons and figure it out. Is it just a fusion of the words music and blog or is there a deeper meaning like, mother of goodness, or mamaw's other giraffe? enlighten please.

Yea, I play bass in couple of bands too. We have gas guzzling chevy 350 van and I love to travel. Its a really nasty habit that keeps me from getting my student loans paid off. You can help further my agenda by spreading the good word.

Sucks I'm not in the area, I'd love to catch a show.
Maybe theres a west coast tour in your future?
indeed, we should come to the west coast. mainly for my traveling pleasure, i've never been west of oklahoma city. sad isn't it? plans are to head your way toward the end of february/ early march. I promise that is the plan, I don't promise that the stars will align for us though. I do promise to keep y'all posted if it happens.

ya, if that album is half as good as that track it'll be twic as good as the solo record.
Thank you both for validating that the Lemonheads ARE good! i felt very alone in the mid-90's. all those screaming girls distracted many folks, and disguised the fact that guy is an ACE songwriter! looking forward to it! you guys ever heard "griffith sunset" an UK only ep, all covers, Louvins, Hoyt Axton, Townes, Fred Neil, good shit!
Hey yeah, I heard that single on one of the Grand Palace podcasts.
Can't wait to hear more from those guys!
