Speaking of old school/new school pop......

These guys aren't brit pop, but Swedish pop, which may be even better! I've been keen to them a few years now and completely adore them, their music is super sweet and catchy pop which is most definitely my weakness.They haven't had anything new out since 2005 but I've heard word of a new album sometime in the near future... I can't wait."Say Yes if You Love Me""This Heart is a Stone" - off of their Sing Along With the Acid House Kings album

    dermahrk says The name "Acid House Kings" is enough to put me off right away, because it doesn't SOUND like they would be producing Pop music. BOY, was I wrong! If you like this, I also suggest you check out Pineforest Crunch, another EuroPop outfit that I got turned onto from MOG. Put their name in the search box and you'll see what I mean. The Merrymakers, a power pop outfit, are also from Sweden (I think). I have to post some Merrymakers on MOG soon....

    Dale says Labrador Records strikes again! Since you dog Acid House Kings, definitely check out The Legends. Unbelievable; I have to take them in small doses because if I don't they're all I listen to for weeks.

    Marigold says I am with dermahrk on the name. I would almost never check this out with that name. I instantly think techno house music which not really my thing. That being said. This is pretty fun. I am with you on the Swedish bands right now. Is it the new Canada? I recon it has always been kicking out good music but I just never knew.
