I've enjoyed an occasional dose of The Cure for years and I particularly enjoy this single. I know it's so commerical but I forgive it that. Whoever said commercial and good music don't go together was wrong.Not their best work either but I like this because of personal memories which bring me some joy.I don't even know which year this song comes from but the album was released in 1986.This isn't a good example of work by The Cure but it is a good example of a popular song of it's time. The Cure have been around for 25+ years and have a terrific discography. It is well worth listening to some other examples of their work to see how they have changed over the years.Who knows? Maybe I'll post another, contrasting, Cure track one of these days.
