801 Live and reissue

Virgin Records put out 801 Live some time ago. Can't tell if this import CD was remastered. The set was reissued in a "collectors edition" recently with some additional material (two CDs, different live dates) and was remastered or remixed. On listening to the two, overall sound on the reissue is improved but Bill McCormick's blistering bass line appears to have been mixed down. (Drummer Simon Phillips comes out of the sonic murk and shines). Bottom line is that TNK remains hair-raisingly good and remains an outstanding Beatle cover. Bill McCormick was a monster, but I haven't found much else by him. If you can, do an A B comparison of the two and see what you think.
