Sinead O'Connor did a relatively rare Bay Area appearance last Sunday at Davies Symphony Hall. I am a big fan, particularly of her recent releases, but although there were some bright spots, the show was a real disappointment because the sound was loud, out of balance and vocals distorted. Opening act also had some problems with sound. There was a pretty good turn out for someone who can't seem to sell many records; hall was at 3/4 capacity. She deserves better from the sound board and is a great and moving artist.R. Baird
