Todd Rundgren - A Wizard/ A True Star

Todd was years ahead of me. He was probably years ahead of everyone. I discovered his music as a teen in the mid to late 80's through an Uncle who was too cool to be wearing the business suit, too hip to wear those enormous specs that made his face look miniscule. When I asked for a delve through his albums he recommended this. Boy was I glad. I listened, and imagined Todd locked away for months in his Bearsville shack, experimenting, like a kaftan clad mad professor, searching for odd melodies and interpreting his love for Soul music in an almost clumsy but completely honest way. I'm an Uncle now, and I guarantee that if ever a nephew or niece wishes to delve through my CD's, I'd always suggest this. I've bought almost all his solo and Utopia material since, and he's always had flashes of brilliance, but for me, nothing will ever capture the excitement I had when I first heard " />

Edit 13/6: Now all the images have disappeared from my previous posts. This is a joy! The Mog experience is filled with frustration.

Edit 14/6: Still not working, although my man Bartleby is on the case. Lol the song I originally posted 3 days ago seems pretty ironic now.
