WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Brother, open up your eyes and look around

Posted almost 3 years ago
I put extensions in last week, because I'd been dying to have long hair for quite some time. You see, around this time last year, I chopped my beautiful locks all off. All is a bit of an exaduration, but it felt like it. I had hair that was below my breast, respectively, once I had it cut it was around my jawline in a shaggy bob so that no one piece was the same length as the others. I let it grow, changed styles around, and in August cut it again into an A-line, jet black bob a la Uma Therman in Pulp Fiction. Since August my hair has grown out to finally lay on my shoulders, and it's now that had begun to miss my long flowing head of hair. I resorted to an artificial remedy: hair extensions. The color I bought matched my natural hair perfectly, so perfect it's almost eerie. They look fantastic when I spend twenty minutes on my hair in the morning, but you see I'm just not into that much maintenance. It typically takes me twenty minutes all together to get ready. 5-10 in the shower, 5 minutes getting dressed and 5 minutes to brush my teeth and hair, and put a little powder on my face. I'm just not digging spending time on my hair.Anyway, so I think in a few minutes I'll go douce my hair in deep conditioner and let it sit to loosen up what is left of the glue that is attatching my artificial length to my head.I'm growing quite tired of my home. QUITE tired. I don't even feel at home here anymore. Sigh.Angsty blogging alert! Angsty blogging alert!I'm currently working on my beach bod. I bought some slim fast shakes and consumed the first this morning. I don't even want to think about food right now, I'm so full.

  2. Rawkkiddoh says Watch out for the slim fast, they dont work as good as you would think. As for the hair thing, I know your pain. Each year when teaching, I would not cut it the entire school year. Then on the last day of school, the kid who read the most books got to shave my head. I was thinking how much I hated dealing with it at this time of the year.

  4. Rawkkiddoh says they could shave it however they liked, and I would keep it like that for 24 hours. Two years ago I had the monster mullet from a 6th grader who had a great sense of humor
